MV-22 Osprey - U.S. Air Force Photo

Welcome to my web page. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in Aerospace Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. Specifically, I work in the Penn State Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence (formerly the Rotorcraft Center of Excellence), where I conduct research in rotorcraft flight dynamics, simulation, and control under the supervision of my advisor, Dr. Joseph Horn. Previous to my doctoral studies, I earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. My undergraduate research dealt with the simulation of air flow around ships using parallel computers, while my Master's-level research was part of an interdisciplinary project (supervised by Dr. Joseph Horn and Dr. Asok Ray), in which minimization of fatigue damage is included in the design of a control system. I am also heavily involved with the local student chapter of the American Helicopter Society. My nonacademic interests include aviation history (as you can see from my Aerospace Page) and scale modeling.
